As I took off on my drive from San Diego, California, heading east across the country, I knew I had a long way to go before I got out of the desert. I headed to Yuma the first day, and then up towards Sedona, Arizona the next day. These are just a few of the things I saw that intrigued me along the way.

Sunrise Highway, east of San Diego. My kind of road.

Not much going on down by the Mexican border – yup that’s the fence between the US and Mexico on the hill

Dusk falls over some train tracks in Yuma, Arizona

Awesome, photo bombed by a hot air balloon in Yuma

Pause, Rest, Worship church in Yuma. I swear, that’s what it was called

The church is really small!

Anyone want a garage and all the cars, near Congress, Arizona? It was all for sale!
