So much history of the Hudson Valley has been affected by the cement history. Some in Kingston, and a lot in Rosendale. I had never visited the AJ Snyder Estate in Rosendale until last week, although it was just a few miles from where I grew up in Tillson. I ended up going 3 times in a week! There is so much interesting history, and there were also plenty of enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers at the museum.
