I have begun my project of spending time photographing the Hudson Valley in New York, focusing mostly on Ulster County. Again, this is where I grew up, and I find it to be a fascinating place, and am very excited to have time to photograph much of it.
It’s amazing how in my first week of doing it I’ve already visited multiple locations that I’d either rarely been to, or at least rarely if ever walked around. (As opposed to driving past in a car)
I look forward to continuing to explore the area and learn about it, and post more photos.

Perrine's Bridge in Rifton - okay - I have been to this place plenty of times!

Wow. I love the rowhomes from the 1600′s. Awesome. I can’t believe they are still standing.
