Recognition Rosendale Food Pantry Donation As part of my first gallery show, I donated 10% of all sales to the Rosendale Food Pantry, which came out to $873. The BlueStone Press newspaper was kind enough to include a writeup about it. (September 2013)
Recognition Visions of a vagaond Hudson Valley Almanac Weekly article about my lifestyle and my photography, by Sharyn Flanagan. This also went in print with over 15,000 copies.  (March 2013)

Professional Relationships

Recognition Wired Gallery, High Falls, New York I am proud to work with Sevan Melikyan and the Wired Gallery. In addition to presenting my solo pop-up show in August 2013, this relationship has given me a stage for art shows around Ulster County. It has helped get more eyes on my photos in the Hudson Valley, while continuing to tell my story. Sevan has great ideas, is very supportive, and is a good person to have on my side.
Recognition Wallkill Valley Land Trust I am also proud to work with the Wallkill Valley Land Trust. Christie DeBoer, their Executive Director, has been a pleasure to work with, as has Melissa Brunette. They provided me access to the Rosendale Trestle while it was under construction, allowed me a table at the trestle opening celebration, and we shared space at the 2013 Rosendale Street Festival, where I promoted my photos of the trestle and my art show in Rosendale. In exchange, they have used many of my photos in their printed materials and outreach.
Recognition Lost Pets of the Hudson Valley Another point of pride is supporting the Lost Pets of the Hudson Valley Facebook page. Bentley, Stacey, Kim, and Christine work tirelessly to help people whose pets are missing. I have worked with them on a few things, the most fun being some promotions on Facebook where the winner gets a free photo shoot with their pet.
Recognition Ulster County Tourism Ulster County is where I am from originally, and where I spend a lot of time now, and I am glad that I introduced myself to the tourism board folks. I have worked with Lisa Berger on a few things, including using some of my images on their website, and a co-promotion of our Facebook pages, where I gave away a metal photo. We have talked recently and I hope we can work together on a few more things in the future.

“I truly enjoyed your photography. I’ve visited your site, and I congratulate you on your editorial parsimony, picking only a couple of images. I thought your compositional skill was excellent. I loved your color sensibility. I appreciated the fact that you stalked light, planning and anticipating the best timing. That you used a tripod. That you waited and hoped (the lightning shot). Your ardor. Thanks for sharing it all with me.”
