In the last couple of weeks I have used various forms of transportation to get the shots I have needed, which has been fun. (Although riding a mountain bike with a bunch of water, a tripod, a camera, and a couple of lenses can be a challenge.) I’ve focused a bit on some well known locations around the Hudson Valley, and so here are some photos of the Ashokan Reservoir and in and around the Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House property.

Dike Road along the Ashokan Reservoir in West Hurley

Aerial photo of the reservoir on a lovely flight piloted by new friend Bruce Cohen.

Mohonk Lake and Skytop and an iconic gazebo, while on foot around the Mountain House

I pulled my bike over and went down some steps to catch this view of the Clove from Laurel Ledge Road

These are gorgeous!! Can you fly a few more times this summer? I’m living vicariously through you!
